"Euronews" published a poll this week regarding the elections: How did Albanians judge who would win them? Which party could have the majority? Certain declared percentages of voters, for political entities, positions that then give certain results with a certain margin of error, but it showed a trend, the winning trend of Prime Minister Rama, of the incumbent government.
Someone was alarmed and called it a bought poll, someone else reacted and said it's not true, it's manipulated, etc. This is how it happens in Albania. In fact, this is one of the first polls that everyone knows about. When you sit down and discuss it with analysts and journalists, everyone is of the same opinion that Edi Rama will win the elections, not because there is no dissatisfaction among the people, but because there is no vote-rigging by the opposition.

The "wave" of dissatisfied citizens or the gray vote is not being discharged to the Democratic Party, plus there are several opposition currents that will run on their own, such as Agron Shehaj, LZHK, Nisma Thurje, Lulzim Basha, who will have several hundred votes in the districts, perhaps thousands throughout Albania, which will burn opposition mandates, will not unite the vote and the result in the end is known.

According to data, the socialist majority currently has 74-76 mandates secured, and is on the way to more. Also, its merger with Shpetim Idrizi's PDIU and other political forces will bring a very significant increase and make the mandates in several southern districts of the country more solid.
In fact, the entire "Euronews" poll is true, realistic, knowledgeable, moreover, there are some districts where the Democratic Party is not even at the levels that that poll gives, so from the data obtained from other companies that have processed many polls conducted in recent weeks, there are districts where the Democratic Party is even lower somewhere.
We recall here the 2021 elections when in the end the polls by "Euronews" declared the Socialist Party and Edi Rama the winner, giving a figure of 46% for the prime minister and 41% for his rival Lulzim Basha. Today, when the opposition is fragmented, when at its head is Sali Berisha, who is fighting to remove his "non-women", we are faced with the fact that the poll gives us data ranging from 48-52% and an opposition that cannot go more than 40%, it will probably be less than that in the elections.

Therefore, the survey is reliable, not for the results it provides, but for the data available on the ground, firstly for the lack of grassroots opposition organization, secondly for the fact that it is claimed that Edi Rama has been in power for 12 years, while the Democratic Party comes with the face of 25 years in power.
On the other hand, it is claimed that the government has covered up corruption and scandals and the opposition will get votes, in fact, most of those who are on the side of the opposition, who come out to do propaganda, are hated faces and perceived by public opinion as characters of corruption and scandals.
A "Euronews" poll has not revealed any great truth, but has shown a reality that goes against the opinionators and naysayers in the media, which shows the reality of the Albanian people how the vote can go where the opposition does not want it, where journalists do not want it, but also because of political situations where we have a divided and fragmented opposition, which has been beaten, which has thrown tear gas at its militants, which has been cursed and denigrated within itself, where we have Gazment Bardhi as a leader who would leave politics if Berisha returned to lead the DP, or Jorida Tabaku has returned who demanded Berisha's removal from the Democratic Party, characters like Agron Gjekmarkaj who lick what they spit and so on, endless characters who hold positions, faces that when asked by public opinion, unfortunately and surprisingly, they hate even more than perhaps the most hated face of the socialists such as Erion Veliaj, some of them are on the same level.

That is why the "Euronews" poll was true, with very dignified data where the opposition and its supporters, rather than attacking it, should read it, evaluate it, see the problems, where they have problems, where the roof is leaking and not act as if they have a new house, they have no problems, but unfortunately they have put a pig and a goat, a chicken and a sow in one hut and pretend that they are in a villa and are coexisting safely to come to power with the thought that their turn is coming.
All data, not only from polls, but also from the field, show that this time too, it is not the turn of those who claim that power is achieved simply and solely by cursing, or by taking the opposition hostage to say that there is no other solution, the only alternative is me. /CNA
