DP in protest/ Rama: Albanians should drain the swamp

Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted to the protest that the opposition is expected to hold at 5:00 PM in front of the Prime Minister's Office.

Rama writes on Platform X that Albanians on May 11th must drain the swamp, referring to the opposition.

"Today, the old owl of the opposition swamp has gone out with his swamp in protest, and the inspiration for the protest is the scoundrels of a fugitive wanted by justice for corruption and concealment of wealth."

This protest should be welcomed, because it is a clear reflection of the rotten alternative of a political swamp of degraded losers, which on May 11 Albanians must drain away by voting for the only worthy political force in Albania, the Socialist Party of Albania.

Only by abandoning the swamp of the old owl will the Democrats create space for the rebirth of a political opposition worthy of Albania as a member of the European Union, otherwise the losses will only deepen beyond May 11, when today's protesters will not only lose for the tenth time in a row, but also by the deepest difference with the Socialist Party, since 2013," Rama writes./ CNA
