The former mayor of Shkodra Municipality, Bardh Spahia, commented on today's protest, where he expressed his appreciation for the people's participation.

Invited to a television show, Spahia once again recalled the objectives of the opposition, where he emphasized that the realization of the technical government and the guarantee of political rotation are the main ones.

"The protest went very well. There was a large presence of people in Milot. It is a political act in the wake of civil disobedience, with two main objectives, the realization of technical government and the guarantee of political rotation. With these we want to guarantee the free vote of Albanian citizens.

Only contact with citizens is not enough in this dictatorship. The regime alienates the citizens' vote. We have declared civil disobedience and this is just the beginning. Today's protest will have its own effect. Millions of euros were thrown in Shkodër during the elections. There was terror from criminal groups in the elections. Having all these problems, civil disobedience is developing even more powerfully and the situation is escalating."/ CNA
