The former spokesperson of Berisha, Juela Meçani, has stated that Lulzim Basha is quietly preparing for the formation of a new party.

According to her, the extension of the Court's decision to give the DP seal to Berisha's group or those who are supporters of Lulzim Basha led by Enkelejd Alibeaj, is worsening the situation within this political force.

"The warnings are that the political situation will start rapidly in September. There have been indications that it will be an opposition political autumn supported by denunciations. 

Extending the Court's decision on DP is the most wrong thing that was done. It is a little surprising, and the extension of this decision worsens the situation within the DP even more. 

What I smell is that some of Basha's past leadership. They are waiting for this decision to give a political solution to their political career and the second political credo of a new force. 

I smell that there will be a new political force. I think that one of the parties that will receive the court's decision will be forced to make a new party. 

I think Basha is preparing for a new party. Whatever the decision of the court, it will lead to the creation of a new party", said Meçani, in an interview for Euroneës Albania.
