Elections in FRPD/ Mariglend Doçi speaks: What prompted him to run for

Mariglend Doçi, one of the 6 candidates for the new leadership of the Youth Forum of the Democratic Party, told CNA.al the reasons that pushed him to compete in these elections.

Doçi said that he grew up with the causes of the sacrifices that FRPD went through. He emphasized that for this reason today he feels ready to unite all young people and to give a new spirit and a different model to the leadership of FRPD.

"I decided to run for the head of the FRPD, initially based on my years of contribution to this structure and feeling myself ready to lead it.

Unë jam rritur në forumin rinor, jam rritur me kauzat e sakrificat që kemi kaluar të gjithë së bashku dhe mosha ime më e bukur ka kaluar në dyert e FRPD.

Unë sot nuk ndihem vetëm i gatshëm për ta drejtuar, por i gatshëm për të bashkuar të gjithë të rinjtë dhe i gatshëm për t’i dhënë një frymë dhe një model tjetër lidershipit të FRPD.

Në këtë gjendje që jemi sot, drejtuesi i forumit rinor nuk duhet të jetë një njeri për të komanduar punë nga zyra, por një njeri terreni dhe një njeri për tu bërë zëri i të rinjve”, u shpreh ai në një intervistë për CNA.al

I pyetur për sekretin e fushatës së tij, Doçi deklaroi se është një njeri popullor dhe i hapin derën në çdo cep të Shqipërisë. Sipas tij, kjo gjë po e ndihmon shumë në fushatë

“Unë jam rritur në terren, jam rritur cep me cep të Shqipërisë duke qenë i pranishëm kudo. Dhe këtë po e vërej sot që jam në fushatë, ku në çdo qytet më njohin dhe më hapin derën.

Unë nuk kam qenë vetëm njeri i konferencave apo njeri i vetëm një zone që të më njohë një komunitet i caktuar, por kam qenë pjesë e kauzave pothuajse në çdo qytet të Shqipërisë dhe ky fakt, pra të qenurit në terren gjithë kohën dhe njeri popullor, po më ndihmon shumë në fushatë, pasi dhe në cepin më të thellë të Shqipërisë mua gjithmonë do të ketë njerëz që do të më presin…”, vijoi ai.

Më tej, Mariglend Doçi u ndal tek gjërat që FRPD ka bërë mirë dhe ato që nuk kanë shkuar siç duhet. Kandidati nënvizoi se edhe në FRPD ka vend për përmirësime.

“Si çdo gjë tjetër në jetë, sidomos në politikë, gjithmonë ka vend për më mirë…

I would not like to dwell on concrete actions, but I can say that from these actions I have learned a lot and today I feel ready to be in charge of FRPD to do even better many things that were never done better and for do not leave more room for the question: "what was not done well?"

Of course, the previous president had the power to do even more for young people, and why we were in difficult situations.

For many decisions, I shook the hand of the former president of the FRPD, and many other times we had our clashes over actions that seemed unfair to me.
