The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, reacted after reaching the Kosovo-Serbia agreement, regarding the identification documents.

Berisha qualifies this as an important step taken to move in the right direction.

 "The Democratic Party has unwaveringly supported the solution of this problem created by the Serbian side on the basis of reciprocity and equality between the parties", emphasizes Berisha.

Të dashur miq, Kosova dhe Serbia ranë dakord për zgjidhjen e problemit të dokumentave bazuar mbi parimin e barazisë dhe reciprocitetit të kërkuar nga qeveria e Kosovës dmth njohjen respektive të dokumentave të njëra-tjetrës dhe lëvizjen e lirë të qytetarëve.

Partia Demokratike ka mbështetur pa lëkundje zgjidhjen e këtij problemi të krijuar nga pala serbe mbi bazën e reciprocitetit dhe barazisë midis palëve.

On this occasion, the Democratic Party, highly appreciating the contribution of the special delegates for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue of the EU and the USA, Miroslav Lajçak and Gabriel Eskobar, welcomes the achievement of this agreement as an important step in the normalization of relations between the two countries and wishes that on the basis of the principles of equality and reciprocity, universal principles in relations between countries, Kosovo and Serbia will successfully solve other major problems between the two countries.

Only a Balkan of sovereign and equal countries will be able to be a region of peace, stability and secure integration into the EU and NATO! sb
