Peleshi: With a 2.7 times larger economy, the pension challenge will be realized

The political leader of the Socialist Party for the Korça region, Niko Peleshi, held a meeting with the residents of the village of Selenicë in Kolonjë, where he spoke about the government's economic achievements and the challenges that remain to be faced in the next mandate.

"Albania has a budget that has tripled compared to 2013 and an economy that is 2.7 times larger. Therefore, the pension challenge, which is among the most difficult, is possible to solve in this mandate," said Peleshi, seeking the support of residents in the May 11 elections.

He further emphasized the importance of infrastructure projects for the development of Kolonja, mentioning the completion of the road that shortens the distance to Korça and the launch of a new project connecting this area with Gjirokastra and the coast. According to him, these investments will significantly affect the increase in the number of tourists in this important region of the southeast.

At this meeting, Peleshi was also accompanied by the candidate for MP, Ilirjan Pendavinji, who shared with the residents some of the priorities related to the development of the area and the needs of the local community./ CNA
