The Head of Appeals in the Democratic Party, Adriana Kalaja, has filed a complaint with SPAK against Judge Irena Gjoka and former Minister of Justice, Ulsi Manja.

Kalaja said that Irena Gjoka, even though she was aware of the expulsion and punishment from the Greek state, lied even before the vetting.

As for former Minister Manja, Kalaja said that Manja has been charged with abuse of office and obstruction of the truth, referring to the letter from the General Prosecutor's Office. Kalaja presented the prosecutor's office's letter, where this institution, in its response to the case of Judge Irena Gjoka, stated that the procedure for a letter of demand is addressed to the Ministry of Justice, and this institution initiated the letter of demand in Athens and not in Ioannina.

 

" Irena Gjoka, convicted twice in the Greek state, has been expelled twice from the Greek state.

Irena Gjoka was aware of the expulsions and lied about the sentence and expulsion, and she also lied during the vetting process.

SPAK should have received the letter in principle. The letter published by Berisha is authentic, it is final from the Jnaina court.

Today we filed the response of the General Prosecutor's Office.

The confirmation came on July 15, more precisely the first response came in May and then the confirmation from the Ministry of Justice in July.

We demand the dismissal of Irena Gjoka and the initiation of criminal proceedings.

As for the acting minister, Ulsi Manja, he has abused his position and obstructed the discovery of the truth.

"Uls Manja has already been reported by us, because when the General Prosecutor's Office addressed the Ministry of Justice for letters rogatory to foreign institutions, it requested continuous information, but Manja diverted the request by taking it to the Court of Athens and not Ioannina, trying to amnesty Irena Gjoka," said Kalaja./ CNA
