From neighborhood 8 of the city of Korça, the political leader of the Socialist Party in this region recalled once again the long ordeal of suffering and destruction that the Democratic Party brought when it was in power.

Peleshi spoke about the time when today's opposition destroyed at night what the municipality was trying to create to return dignity to Korça, in 2007. According to him, this is a past that has already been left behind and cannot be trusted as a better future.

Peleshi also focused on the importance of these elections, where the major objective is Albania's membership in the European Union, which translates into faster solutions to the country's problems than if we remained outside of it.

For all of this, Niko Peleshi, together with other Socialist Party candidates in the Korça Region, has requested massive support in the May 11 elections, to continue with confidence and certainty the path started in 2013./ CNA
