In the Municipality of Tirana there will be other arrests for the "5D" affair and the corruption of the directors of the mayor Erion Veliaj.

This warning was given by the DP leader for Tirana, Belind Kelliçi, in the "Voices" podcast.

"According to the data that I have, there will be new proceedings, there will be new arrests in connection with this affair and for the first time the citizens of Tirana have a revolt, which has never been seen before, and they demand the immediate departure, the resignation and advancement of the justice of a mayor, such as Erion Veliaj.

It is the first time it has happened, it has never happened to Edi Rama, nor to Lulzim Basha, nor to Mr. Brojka, nor to Mr. Sali Kelmendi, what has happened to Veliaj has never happened to anyone," he said.

We remind you that CNA previously reported that SPAK has not closed the investigations, but is in-depth with other subordinates of Veliaj for the "5D" file, for the incinerator affair, but also for other files that are in the Special Prosecutor's Office.
