Deputy Jorida Tabaku has not supported the protest organized by the Alliance for the Protection of the National Theater in front of the Municipality of Tirana, against the mayor Erion Veliaj.

She refused to protest against the thieving directors of Veliaj, who were caught stealing the capital's taxpayers' money with municipal tenders.

He even stated on Alba Alishan's "Debat" show that protest is not the right solution, stressing that it is not a battle with the buildings.

"It shows the culture that is fundamental, there is no greater abuse than what happened with the scheme used by the Municipality of Tirana in this case, which also had cases of aggression, the buildings are not our fault, we are not we have the battle with the buildings, I understand that there are citizens who must express it in this way, but I believe that we must work with the people, to explain this scheme, to show that we do everything differently, to raise the spirit of opposition that today is missing", said the deputy.

She has emphasized that she will not be at tomorrow's protest and has justified that she will hold a meeting with representatives of free professions.

"I will be in a meeting with all the representatives of the free professions that I decided some time ago, to discuss how to proceed with the lawsuit in the Constitutional Court", underlined Tabaku./ CNA
