Balla "closes his eyes" to the thieves of Veliaj

Activists of the Alliance for the Protection of the Theatre, the opposition and citizens of Tirana protested today for the fourth week in a row in front of the Tirana City Hall for the thefts of the thieving directors of the mayor Erion Veliaj.

The protesters demand the immediate resignation of Veliaj for the affairs of his directors, arrested by order of SPAK.

The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, was asked today by journalists about these protests. The latter "closed his eyes" to the thefts in the Municipality of Tirana and mocked the protesters.

Balla claimed that the protest in front of the Municipality of Tirana is not for Veliaj, but for former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.

"I believe that the protestors today themselves gave the answer to the reason for the protest when during the protest the calls were "Free the leader of the opposition", so in this aspect I believe you understand that they do not have the problem that you refer to, but they have their own problem". emphasized the minister from Korça./ CNA
