A few minutes before the campaign closed, Prime Minister Edi Rama stated in a video message that he would shortly hold the closing meeting in Tirana, where he emphasized that there would only be participants from the capital as others are busy with preparations for May 11.

Rama expressed that he is happy that there has been a movement of Albanian emigrants who have sent envelopes with their votes.

According to Rama, the trend of voters from the Diaspora is increasing and he is looking forward to seeing the judgment of Albanian immigrants.

"Here come the last hours of this journey. Shortly after, at 19:30, we have Tirana and only Tirana, everyone else has stayed in their circles preparing for the next phase of the process, the commissioners' bodies, etc. At 19:30, Tirana will give the last message to Albania and Albanians everywhere.

There was a movement of those who had not sent the envelopes. The trend showed that we would have a high participation from the Diaspora.

"I am very curious to see the decision of the Diaspora, the judgment of the Diaspora, and certainly with the greatest respect at 19:30 we will be together with Tirana, for Tirana and for Albania 2030 in the EU", said Rama./ CNA
