Berisha invites emigrants who could not send envelopes: Come to Albania and vote

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, held a press conference with journalists. In his speech, Berisha focused on diaspora votes and the obstacles faced by voters abroad.

Berisha invited all those emigrants who were unable to vote by mail to come to Albania on May 11. Something Berisha called an extraordinary service to the country.

" May 11th is the defining day of the future of the Albanian nation. Hundreds of thousands of immigrants registered to vote, but an organized disorder occurred in two places. I hope this will encourage every Albanian citizen who can come these two days and vote on Sunday at the polling stations, it would be an extraordinary service. A unique opportunity given to them.

Today we close the most optimistic campaign of free Albanians, on the New Boulevard of the capital. This campaign, for which I want to thank every participant from Saranda to Tropoja, was characterized by a true hurricane that came from the heart and soul of the people. Two campaigns run parallel. One campaign with the coercion of the narco-state, the other a campaign of people determined to drive out the narco-state” , said Berisha./ CNA
