"Tirana 2"/Balluku electrical substation: Power loss in some areas only 4%

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, was present today at the inspection of the "Tirana 2" electrical substation.

Balluku spoke about energy loss, for which he said that the average for the entire republic has decreased to 17%, but there are also cases when this loss is only 4%.

Further, the minister stated that energy transmission volumes throughout the region have increased significantly.

" We have reached 17% losses, average for the entire republic. Let's not forget that we have cases like Kombinati where losses are 4%. We are at a satisfactory level in terms of losses. The volumes of electricity transmission have increased significantly throughout the region. All transmission that occurs from Greece to Albania or vice versa or Montenegro have increased significantly ," said Balluku./CNA
