PPE/Zhulali fact-finding mission: Paves the way for a technical government

The Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Democratic Party, Ilda Zhulali, invited to the "Task Force" show on Syri TV, spoke about the PPE assembly and the request for a fact-finding mission.

Zhulali said that the moment this mission takes place in Albania, there will be strong political conditions for Edi Rama's government.

Zhulali further stated that the fact that the PPE decides to come to Albania shows that problems have been identified.

A similar case, Zhulali said, also occurred in North Macedonia, which brought a technical government to the country.

"The decision to pay a visit to some observers or personalities who will come on a fact-finding mission to Albania is made only because the EPP has a real concern and there are facts that have led EPP members to almost the conviction that not only were the elections stolen in Albania, but the scale of the theft has reached the point where it can no longer be kept silent.

And second, the moment this fact-finding mission takes place in Albania, it means that it will be followed by some strong political conditions for Edi Rama's government.

Albania has requested several times that fact-finding missions come to Albania, but so far this has not been realized.

The ice was broken with the British Conservative Party, which was the first to bring a fact-finding mission to Albania a few months ago and received some findings that they said were surprising and shocking that they had not known before.

But coming from the EPP, it means that there is a problem that has been identified, accepted as such but will not be left in silence.
A similar procedure was followed in the case of North Macedonia.
When there were problems with the elections in North Macedonia, the first step taken by the EPP was a fact-finding mission there, then several reports were made and after the reports, the decision was made that a technical government should be established, and that technical government remained in office not only for 3 months as was said at the beginning but the elections were postponed 3 times, it took almost a year and a half, two, until the conditions for free and fair elections were created.

"What I see is something similar to what happened in Macedonia because this was what preceded the caretaker government ," Zhulali said./ CNA
