With 9 votes of the majority, the draft resolution "On deepening reforms for good governance, rule of law and anti-corruption for Albania 2030 in the European Union" was approved.

It is expected that the draft resolution will pass on Monday in the plenary session.

It was the head of the SP Parliamentary Group, Bledi Çuçi, who proposed the date of May 27 for the draft resolution to be considered in the Assembly. 

Responding to Jorida Tabaku, the chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the SP said that it is necessary to approve the resolution and establish the Special Commission.

Çuçi emphasized that there is no overlap with the powers of any other commission, nor with the work of the National Integration Council. 

"The government cannot do this, that's why we are taking such an initiative in Parliament. The government is one of the institutions that will report on good governance and the fight against corruption. There is no concern about the overlap of powers from the European Integration Council or the commissions of The Screenig process is the main source that leads us to take this initiative by declaring the fight against corruption and good governance a priority. There is no doubt that the majority has the main burden because it has been delegated by the citizens, but we have asked for inclusiveness in the Parliament to lead it. this initiative", he said.

After the approval of the anti-corruption resolution, it is expected that the anti-SPAK commission, denounced a few months ago by CNA, will be approved, which will be headed by Fatmir Xhafaj. This commission aims to control the work of SPAK. / CNA
