Meta presents the candidates for the municipal councils/ Talks about a coalition
Chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta

The chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has presented the candidates for the municipal council of Tirana.

In a statement to the media, Meta said that the list is led by Silva Caka, and by other figures of the Freedom Party, such as Endrit Braimllari, Florida K?rpaçi, Tedi Blushi, Ana Zizaj and others. 

“Kemi ndjekur procedurë transparente për kandidatet për këshilla bashiake. Komisioni i drejtuar nga Vasili ka bërë një vlerësim përfundimtar të kësaj liste, në bazë të aplikimeve të pertinenteve. Mund t’ju konfirmoj se lista me 26 emra e parë është e miratuar nga kryesia, pjesa tjetër është zyrtarizuar nga komisioni përkatës, pasi secili të plotësojë dokumentet përkatës. Lista drejtohet nga Silva Caka, dhe nga figura të tjera të Partisë së Lirisë, si Braimllari, Kërpaçi, Tedi Blushi, Ana Zizaj, etj", u shpreh Meta. 

Ndër të tjera, Meta y pyet nëse do të regjistrohet në një koalicion më Sali Berishën dhe pohoi se së bashku me Berishën janë betuar për të larguar regjimin me 14 Maj.

"I believe that everyone knows and remembers that we signed a contract and held a ceremony where we solemnly committed ourselves to end the central regime by instilling victory in the May 14 elections. The return of municipal councils to stands, where the citizens themselves will come and express their ideas. The second step is a law that will exercise the right of referendum, to put an end to the hostage-taking of the state", said Meta./ CNA.al
