The chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has made a reaction regarding the closing of the Turkish college in Tirana.

Through a status on social networks, Meta announces that he has held a meeting with the representatives of the educational institution "Turgut Ozal".

The former president says that he is worried about the acts of the Government, which he describes as unacceptable.

“Prita sot përfaqësuesit e institucionit arsimor "Turgut Ozal", një investim privat hollandez, që më shpjeguan në detaje veprimet antiligjore të Qeverisë shqiptare ndaj këtij institucioni arsimor, për të cilat janë njoftuar dhe rasti po ndiqet me vëmendje edhe nga institucionet ndërkombëtare.

Jam i shokuar nga këto fakte të cilat shkatërrojnë sigurinë juridike në vend. Këto akte antiligjore nuk kanë të bëjnë vetëm me një shkollë, por tregojnë rrezikun që i kanoset çdo qytetari, investitori të huaj, biznesi të ndershëm, etj.

Shpreh shqetësimin e madh për këto akte të papranueshme, nisur edhe nga fakti, që ky vendim i Qeverisë merret pasi ka filluar shkolla, duke ndikuar tek fëmijët dhe familjet e tyre, si edhe tek mësuesit.

We are a country that should function according to laws, but in this case, our state has committed arbitrary, brutal and illegal acts that have traumatized hundreds of little girls and their families.

I encouraged them to follow the legal path to the end and assured them that we will monitor the process closely.
