The former Foreign Minister, Besnik Mustafaj, spoke about the political situation in the country.

Invited to the show, "Informative Radar", Mustafaj revealed why it was not a "hot September", with protests as it was warned.

The former minister said that the opposition itself has been in the process of structuring, but will soon start protests.

Excerpts from the conversation:

Xhokaxhi: Why do you think the opposition protests are being delayed?

Mustafaj: The spirit of protests exists. I believe that PD is seeing the most appropriate way and moment to enter a new stage of being the opposition. We are in the middle of September, the parliamentary session has just started. Berisha has kept up the pace of the denunciations. The PL of Meta has been in the period of reorganization to emerge as a political structure.

Xhokaxhi: The situation in the opposition remained the same. The situation of the USA towards Berisha's opposition remains the same. But on the other hand, in a meeting with Meta, the US ambassador asked for dialogue between the political parties, in order to advance EU reforms.

Mustafaj: There are no surprises in the American attitude towards Berisha, there are no expulsions of DP deputies, so there is no exclusion of the opposition, but a constant attitude towards Berisha. Her call for dialogue must be understood very correctly.
