"Full support from the DP"/ Berisha: June protests, historic and sustainable

The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, today expressed the immense support of this political force towards the citizen protests that have started more than two weeks ago.

Speaking from the blue headquarters, Berisha said that young people and citizens erupted in protests of historic proportions, an act that the chief democrat described as very right.

According to Berisha, this is a massive and sustained protest that surpasses all others.

"The amazing colony of rich biodiversity habitats caused the youth and citizens of Tirana and Albania to erupt in a protest that in its dimensions has never been seen in the history of this country. A protest so massive and so sustained. It surpasses all other protests. A just protest, if we take its first 3 elements; brutality towards the citizen, towards the community and the lack of transparency for a file that had to do with a protected landscape of our country. In this context, the DP decided to support and respect this protest in the first place because its cause was just", - said Berisha. /CNA
