Prime Minister Edi Rama's meeting with Albanian immigrants in Athens has been going on for nearly two hours.

Referring to the tense situation between official Athens and Tirana regarding the "Beleri" issue, Rama underlined that the whole situation looks like we can't wait to burn the quilt with a flea. 

"We grew up as two children in the same yard, so the political borders between our two peoples have never been spiritual borders. No artificial division can erase a great heavy historical truth, which is marked in our care for decades in a row. We have a Balkan culture long before the creation of our two countries. The Albanians are an added value of work, knowledge and culture. It seems that the destinies of our two countries are inseparable we can't wait to burn the quilt with a flea. Let's not continue with the old dishes, dressed in new costumes. We have a lot of haughty pseudo-patriots here and there, like living fossils of the 19th century," said Rama . /CNA
