"Battles are won, not given away"/ Adriana Kalaja competes on the open

Adriana Kalaja, through a reaction on social networks, has announced that she will run on the DP's open list for Tirana.

Kalaja writes that wars are won, not given away. He also conveyed a message to those who withdrew from the race, expressing dissatisfaction, saying "enough of you being victimized and "scolded", especially those of you who have had immunity and power all these years."

I belong to that group of people who have earned everything themselves, through hard work, sacrifice and a lot of dedication.

No one has given me anything, both professionally and politically.

I have won battles by standing at the forefront of them, giving my maximum contribution, regardless of any risk, both for myself and for my children.

In this sense, I welcome the decision of the Chairman Prof. Dr.

Sali Berisha, in consultation with the Political Director of Tirana Belind Këlliçi, the Presidency and National Council of the Democratic Party of Albania, to run on an open list.

Why not?

How can you legitimize yourself as a representative of citizens when you don't have their vote?

That's why you were victimized and "scolded", especially those of you who have had immunity and power all these years.

Since in 35 years I have earned everything with dignity and integrity, and since in 35 years I have not received even 35 lek of public money, I stand tall and proud to humbly ask for the vote of every democrat and citizen who believes that I will embrace them with dignity, with the primary focus:

The Restoration of the Rule of Law.

Try winning your own battles, you'll enjoy them more.

I have done it and I will continue to do it until the end.

Today, more than ever, I am convinced that March 12th has no value, but May 12th.

It's our year.

It's our turn.

With faith in God and dedicated work, I have always succeeded.

I will make it on May 12th, on Victory Day, because victories have never been given to me, but have been earned./ CNA
