"This government is killing your hope"/ FRPD candidate, strong message

The candidate for the new head of the Youth Forum of the Democratic Party, Alesia Balliu, in an interview for  CNA.al,  spoke about the race and the reasons that made her join it, focusing on the political situation, but also the young people .

She said that a young person today faces many obstacles, and that the government is killing the hope of the youth even though they are well educated and professionally very accomplished.

While promising support, she also gave some strong messages that each of us should tell ourselves every day, to never give up, despite the challenges.

 “Rinisë sot nuk i mungon asgjë, janë të mirë arsimuar dhe profesionalisht shumë të arritur por kjo qeveri nuk po ju jep mundësi dhe klasa politike nuk po lejon hapësira dhe për këtë arsye një i ri sot përplaset me shumë pengesa.

 Kjo qeveri po ju vret shpresen rinise por edhe gjithë Shqipëtarëve, kjo është gjëja më e tmerrshme, siç ka thënë Sami Frashëri, kush vret shpresën të merr dhe atë që ke dhe atë që s’ke. Dhe shpresa jonë s’ka vdekur dhe s’do vdesi kurrë.”

Por çfarë premton Balliu në krye të FRPD-së për të rinjtë?

“Unë do të përpiqesha të sillja shpirtin e aktivizmit dhe të përpjekjes për të adresuar problematikat rinore me një qasje sa me teknike dhe metodike, në përpjekje për të bindur rininë që Shqipëria është vendi i tyre dhe se ajo ende ka mundësi për ta.

Never give up. It's relatively easy to decide that it's not worth standing up for my rights. That a more developed country can offer me more with less stress, but this is surrender and should be avoided, as this country needs us." /CNA.al
