Kelliçi appeals to Veliaj/ Let's talk about ideas, but not about

The candidate of the opposition for the Municipality of Tirana, Belind Këlliçi, spoke about the May 4 elections in the show "Open" on News24.

During the conversation in the studio, Kelliçi added that his program focuses only on citizens.

On the other hand, Kelliçi criticized the head of the Municipality of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, saying that he does not care about the citizens, while adding that he is ready for a confrontation but to talk about ideas and citizens, and not for a political debate.

Excerpts from the studio conversation:

Sejdarasi: Ne vazhdojmë të jemi tifozë të partive politike. Bota jashtë nuk e njeh as këtë fushatë që bëjmë ne. Por të kthehemi në vendin tonë, unë them që është një moment i vështirë politik. Unë do isha i lumtur që të flisnin për qytetarët. Kandidatët duhet të shpalosin profilin.

Murati: Kur flasim për PD duhet të flasim edhe për krizën që tashmë e dimë. Dhe kur flasim për krizë të opozitës nuk është vetëm problem i vulës apo siglën, por ajo që quhet PD e vulës nuk ka vetëm vulën, të paktën në 6 mars kandidatët e Berishës morën rreth 60 mijë vota, ndërsa kandidatët e Bashës morën rreth 27 mijë vota. Prandaj do të kërkoja një vlerësim politik. Duam apo jo, Berisha ka peshë edhe në këto zgjedhje të pushtetit vendor. Roland Bejko për ju është figurë mjerane?

Këlliçi: Në këtë garë jam Belind Këlliçi dhe nuk preferoj të komentoj për kandidatët e tjerë dhe nuk do të jap asnjë koment për Roland Bejkon. Se kujt i shërben në këtë garë duhet të përgjigjet Bejko. Unë këtu vij pas një procesi të gjatë, me rivalin që kam pasur në garë sot jemi të dy në ekip. Kemi dhënë një model krejt tjetër. Për debatin politik do të preferoja të pyesnit zotit Berisha, unë do të doja të fokusohet tek qytetarët.

While commenting on the mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj, Kelliçi said: He is in trouble, he has no connection with the citizens of Tirana, he is in trouble to close the files. I am 100% with the citizen of Tirana and I don't care about the politics of the day. There is no balance, I invite him today, come when he wants and talk about ideas, the gentleman wants a political debate. I'm here for free public transport, for water 24 hours... I gave my decision and my opinion on the report to Mr. Berisha on December 2, when I also chaired the Assembly.

Murati: The fact that the USA has accused Mr. Berisha of corruption, have you decided to avoid it and have you agreed with it so that it is not too much of a part of the campaign?
