The political leader of the Democratic Party for Tirana, Belind Këlliçi, has raised the alarm that the government has brought the agriculture sector to the brink of disaster and total collapse.

Këlliçi presented the DP's program for farmers, emphasizing that the farmer will be the strategic investor of the DP-Alliance for Greater Albania.

“The farmer, our strategic investor!

These years of Rama's government have witnessed the total abandonment and bringing of the agricultural sector to the brink of disaster and total collapse!

The obvious decrease in the number of inhabitants in the village, the decline in agricultural production and exports, the decline in the number of cattle, the abandonment of production due to lack of subsidies, are all signs of a criminal policy of deliberate neglect of the farmer.

A policy that has favored government clients as "strategic investors" and has abandoned the farmer or livestock farmer who does not receive subsidies for production as much as his brother in Kosovo.

The Democratic Party has a concrete plan to stop this nonsense and return every penny to the citizen.

The EMERGENCY measures in agriculture that the DP will take are:

- Subsidy for each head of livestock and production unit.

- Seasonal protection of agricultural products.

- Subsidizing oil up to cost level.

- Support with grants and soft loans for farmers and agro-processors.
