"I am convinced that we will be the political force that will govern"/

In the Korça region, one of the candidacies that is attracting attention on the Democratic Party list is that of Kristiano Koçibelli. With over 10 years of experience in the structures of this political force, he returns to the electoral scene with the aim of representing citizens in the Albanian Parliament, bringing a new political approach, closer to citizens and more active on the ground.

Koçibelli tells CNA that he has been part of the DP for more than a decade, starting from the Korça branch to the center, as a member of the National Council and then of the Presidency of the DP. He recalls his candidacy in 2017 and the decision to reject the mandate in 2019, while in 2021 he re-engaged in the party's leadership structures. Today, he is one of the new voices that aspires to be in the Assembly, to represent a new model of representation, more active and more connected to the base.

" I have more than 10 years of participation and engagement with the DP, mainly in the Korcë branch but also in its center, being a member of the National Council. For more than 10 years, I have been a member of the DP presidency, then a candidate for deputy in 2017. I decided to refuse the mandate later in 2019. Again a member of the presidency in 2021, again a member of the National Council in 2021 and now, taking into account the experience that I have gained in all these electoral races, I have decided to be part of this electoral campaign as a candidate for deputy ," said the candidate.

 

The Democratic candidate emphasizes that love for Albania is closely linked to support for a right-wing force like the DP. He comes from a family with a history of persecution by the communist regime and that has contributed to the DP for years. For Koçibelli, the commitment to this party is more than a personal decision. It is a family and civic mission, which he says he will pass on to future generations.

" To love Albania, at the same time, means to love a right-wing political force and the only possibility for Albania to make progress and make possible the repatriation of Albanians in Albania, is only the DP thanks to its positions and its program. Given that I come from a right-wing family, from a family that has suffered from the communist system, from a family that has been part of the DP for 34 years throughout its existence, I would necessarily be part of this political force, but I see the DP not only as a personal commitment but as a family commitment, as a civic commitment and absolutely as a commitment that will be inherited by my heirs in the future ," said Koçibelli.

 

 

Në vizionin e tij, një nga prioritetet kryesore është mbështetja për biznesin shqiptar, duke e konsideruar PD-në si të vetmen forcë që ofron një program të qartë për biznesin e vogël, të mesëm dhe të madh. Sipas tij, zhvillimi ekonomik nuk mund të arrihet pa një qeveri që e kupton dhe e ndihmon sipërmarrjen.

 

"Pikërisht, të duash biznesin do të thotë të duash edhe PD sepse të kesh sukses në biznes do të thotë që PD duhet të jetë domosdoshmërisht në qeveri sepse ndryshe biznesi nuk mund të ketë sukses. Për shkak të programit që ka PD, sepse siç e dini ju, biznesi ka nevojë për mundësi më të mëdha, të ketë më shumë njerëz, më shumë konsumatorë dhe ka nevojë për një program për biznesin e vogël, të mesëm e të madh, njëkohësisht kush është biznesmen duhet të jetë demokrat në vetvete", tha Koçibelli.

 

 

Për kandidatin demokrat, PD nuk ofron vetëm një program ekonomik të mirëpërcaktuar, por edhe një vizion për bujqësinë, arsimin, turizmin dhe trashëgiminë kulturore, fusha që, sipas tij, janë lënë pas dore nga qeverisja aktuale. Ai angazhohet të jetë gjithmonë pranë qytetarëve të qarkut Korçë, si një përfaqësues i përkushtuar dhe i aksesueshëm. Ndër të tjera, Koçibelli tregon se ka marrë mbështetje jo vetëm nga demokratët e Korçës, por edhe nga banorët e zhgënjyer të qarkut.

 

"PD ka një program të saj por edhe unë si kandidat i saj për deputet kam bindjet e mia dhe mënyrën time sesi unë e bëj fushatën. Mendoj se angazhimi dhe synimi kryesor i PD është ti japë rëndësi të gjitha fushave që Shqipëria është duke vuajtur, fillimisht në bujqësi, në arsim, në turizëm, në trashëgimia kulturore dhe në gjithë sektorët e tjerë të politikës dhe shtetit. Unë kryesisht mendoj se bëj pjesë tek ata njerëz që kam vendosur të jem kandidat për deputet me bindjen se nesër do të jem në Kuvendin e Shqipërisë dhe mendoj se PD ka nevojë vërtet për një deputet të ri i cili të jetë gjithë kohës në Korçë dhe në qark, në degët e PD të saj dhe të ketë një afrimitet e një angazhim më të madh me qytetarët. Kohët e fundit i ka munguar kjo PD, ndaj jam dhe unë këtu sot me bindjen se njerëzit kanë nevojë për një djalë të ri dhe vetë PD ka nevojë për një të ri në qarkun e Korçës. Mendoj se janë të gjitha mundësitë që edhe me angazhimet e javëve të fundit që unë kam patur, njerëzit janë duke më besuar shumë, unë jam duke patur vërtet një mbështetje të madhe prej demokratëve dhe jo vetëm. Pothuajse edhe nga gjithë banorët e qarkut të Korçës të cilët janë të zhgënjyer masivisht nga qeverisja aktuale dhe besojnë tek PD dhe kandidatët e saj", u shpreh kandidati.

 

He also evaluates the list of DP candidates, describing it as an excellent list, balanced between experience and the new generation. According to him, change comes only with people who have values ??and who are not placed on the list for personal interests, but because of the contribution and trust they enjoy in their communities. As for the SP and other small parties, Koçibelli states that the SP list is with candidates put under pressure, while he does not consider those of other parties at all.

 

" To be honest, considering that the DP list is an extraordinary list, with personalities, with young people, with people who have made an extraordinary contribution during the 35 years of continuity and the time since the DP was created. I think we have an excellent list, a list of people with values, a list of young people who love not only the DP but also Albania. As for the other parties, they are candidates who have mainly entered the SP with difficulty due to the pressure they have had, while the other parties may be parties that I have never given importance to, neither the parties nor the names, so don't ask me because I haven't read them on the ballot paper ," said the candidate.

 

 

In conclusion, Kristiano Koçibelli calls on citizens to trust in the Democratic Party and its vision for the future of Albania. He expresses his conviction that the DP will be the force that will lead the country after the May 11 elections.

 

" Trust the Democratic Party, trust its program, trust me as its candidate and absolutely believe that Albania will one day become much better and I am convinced that we will be the political force that will govern Albania tomorrow after May 11 ," declared Koçibelli.

 

Kristiano Koçibelli is one of the voices aiming to breathe new life into the Democratic Party in the Korça region. The road to May 11 is expected to be busy and challenging, as the campaign enters its most intense phase, after the candidates have been holding informal meetings throughout the region for weeks./ CNA
