May 11th Elections/ OSCE-ODIHR visit to SPAK

Today, the OSCE-ODIHR delegation visited the Special Prosecutor's Office.

The visit takes place in the context of the parliamentary elections of May 11.

OSCE-ODIHR will monitor the May 11 election process.

This observation will involve 300 short-term and 26 long-term observers, who will be present in the 12 regions of the country.  

We recall that the news that there will be observers on election day was confirmed a few days ago by the head of the OSCE-ODIHR mission, Lamberto Zannier.

" On election day there will be a broader component of observers, observers from the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and the European Parliament. The purpose of this mission will be to assess the conduct of this process, whether it will be in line with Albania's OSCE commitments and other obligations of Albania, as well as compliance with domestic legislation ," announced the head of the mission, Lamberto Zannier, a few days ago./ CNA
