The political leader of the Democratic Party for Tirana, Belind Këlliçi, has denounced the fact that UKT employees have been denied compensation for their bonuses.
Këlliçi writes that all this happens because fictitious salaries are paid to militants before the elections.
" Another election scandal, UKT employees do not receive compensation for their bonuses. For three months, UKT employees have been illegally denied their full salary, reducing it by 40 thousand lek. We cannot look for the reasons anywhere other than the government and party "need" to pay the fictitious salaries of militants before the elections, and all this at the expense of billers and ordinary workers. This discriminatory and illegal shame must end. The UKT administration and all other institutions cannot be used as a vote bank. Citizens suffer the consequences of these anti-democratic practices, not only from the abuse of the budget and the erosion of democracy, but also directly in the quality of service they receive in infrastructure and services ," writes Këlliçi./ CNA
