The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, held an election meeting in Bulqiza today. In his speech, Berisha emphasized the importance of chromium as an important mineral for the Albanian economy, as well as the difficulties of the miners' work.

Berisha said that Albania has a debt to the miners, which will be returned to them as they deserve.

Berisha said that in this work, workers have often given their lives, and for this, the DP has a plan to reward them as they deserve.  

"Made in Albania is the second main pillar of our production. Our pride is our national production. And we can extract minerals perhaps more than any other country in the Balkans. No one has the diversity of our minerals and mines. We will not only extract them, but we will transform them into wealth and well-being for you.

I personally tell you that the group's debt is a debt that Albania has towards you. And the debt will be returned. The debtor who does not return the debt is miserable. We will put you on the pedestal you deserve! Friends, this is our program for the miners.

Albanian society, the Albanian state have been unfair to the miners of Bulqiza and Albania.

I say this because you, your fathers, your people, for decades and decades, have shed rivers of sweat underground in very difficult conditions with great sacrifices, sometimes even your lives, and you have not received, have never been rewarded for what you deserve.

I have repeatedly spoken with your representatives, with the president of the unions, Përparimi, Shaqiri, and I come before you with a new concept.
