Prime Minister Edi Rama held a meeting today in the city of Gramsh. In his speech, Rama focused on two issues: the relationship with justice and the opposition campaign.
Rama stated that the government has submitted all political issues to justice and that those convicted politicians have had problems with justice.
Rama said that
"We hand over all the house codes, justice. We don't have half of the government in prison. We have some who have had roles in their mandates and have encountered problems with justice. I am proud of the obligation I have towards you who voted for me," said Rama.
As for the opposition, Rama said they are telling tales, which according to him, the people do not buy.
"The swamps are far behind us and they tell the people tales that we don't eat. Not many years ago they were killing. They killed not once, but at different times. Can you imagine today that people protesting under the prime minister's office would be killed? And that I would be the police to protect justice? This didn't happen 100 years ago, but when we were here," Rama said. /CNA
