"Rama divided the budget poorly"/ Berisha in Borsh: We will create new

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, visited the village of Borsh, where he met with the residents of this area. In his speech, Berisha emphasized the changes that are intended to occur in this area with the DP's program for residents and tourism.

Berisha said that the DP program will create a new space for business.

The leader of the Democrat Party accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of misallocating the budget for farmers and, according to him, this situation must end.

Berisha said that it is a fundamental condition for being in Europe for residents to have 24-hour irrigation, drainage, land protection, and business success.

"Now, if you see Borsh, Qeparo, Himara, these are magnificent. If you go out on Pilur, it seems like you've climbed a cloud and you're looking at the sea. These are magnificent."

The problem is to raise the residents to the level of this greatness. And that's what our program will do.

Businesses in Borsh will have their taxes halved. For small businesses, the VAT and profit tax ceilings will go from 100,000 and 140,000 euros to 180,000 euros.

Municipalities will not be able to impose fees and taxes exceeding 1 percent of turnover.

Energy will be reduced to 6 lek. Water will be halved. So we will create a new space for business.

We will subsidize farmers for every unit of production, every seedling planted, and every head of livestock.

We remove any other criteria, no, there are five cows, no, there are ten cows, if there is one cow, it will be subsidized. If there are three olive trees, it will be subsidized.

We will increase subsidies to the levels of surrounding countries. Surrounding countries have subsidy levels 5-6 times higher than in our country.

When Edi Rama allocated the budget, he left 33 million euros out of 8 billion for farmers, at a time when he should have left a minimum of 230 million. So, this situation ends.

Borsh's infrastructure will have full priority.

I know the problem and I tell you that it will be solved 100 percent. I told you in Himara, I tell you here too. I will not build the Llogara tunnel without providing an answer to the problem of sewage from Seman to Cape Stilla.

Once we raise the blue flag in our waters, then we would continue with others because the fundamental condition for being in Europe is not the tunnel.

A fundamental condition for being in Europe is not to dump sewage where people bathe.

A fundamental condition for being in Europe is to have 24-hour irrigation, drainage, soil protection, and business success.

So, these are the conditions we stand for," Berisha said./CNA
