The President of the Republican Party, Fatmir Mediu, invited to the show "Çim Peka Live" on Syri TV, spoke about the engagement of Criss LaCivita, the American strategist, in the opposition campaign. He said that Criss LaCivita is in close contact every day with the electoral headquarters of the "Democratic Party - Alliance for a Greater Albania" coalition.

Mediu stressed that five permanent representatives from the US are in the DP offices and are helping in the management of the campaign. According to him, the main focus of the DP campaign is the conversation with the citizens and not the debate with Edi Rama. Mediu accused Rama of insults, deception and arrogant behavior. He stated that the current government has displaced over a million Albanians over the last 12 years. According to Mediu, the majority is trying to manipulate the electoral process through pressure, corruption and criminal groups.

And I believe that the entire focus of this campaign is not a debate with Edi Rama, but a conversation with Albanian citizens.

Everyone knows what Edi Rama is, if we want to give him epithets, we can find them quite easily: fraud is the first, in a kind of delirious way the second, and a man who curses and insults anyone he meets, the third.

We want to deal with the issues of the citizens in order to show them that with a program, with a serious goal, with a mission that Mr. Berisha has undertaken, we will try to bring Albania and the Albanians to a different standard, where the government is their servant and does not impose itself on their shoulders to take their breath away and violate their dignity and freedom, as has happened in these 12 years.

Edi Rama, having no positive record in his 12 years of governance, is undoubtedly interested in diverting the campaign into swearing, insults, and driving people away from polling stations, just as he has driven more than 1 million Albanians away from Albania in these 12 years.

"So, it clearly wants the debate to be as stale as possible, with as little civic interest in the voting process as possible, and then through criminal groups, corruption money, and patronage, to buy and intimidate Albanian voters inside and outside Albania. And for this there are facts and evidence that are evident, and have been conveyed in the media and in public opinion," said Mediu.
