The Chairman of the Social Democratic Party, Tom Doshi, and his candidates held a meeting with supporters in Shkodra.

In his speech, Doshi said that his party's program is a program for the social classes. The PSD leader said that Albania currently has only one PET scanner for the treatment of cancer patients, while 8 such are needed.

Doshi pledged that the PSD will ensure that Albania has 8 PET scanners, as many as it needs.

Further, Doshi spoke about the mayor of Shkodra, Benet Beci, who said how a campaign could be led by a defendant.

The PSD chairman declared that his party is the only hope and victory will begin by winning three mandates in Shkodra.

Regarding a collaboration with the Democrats, Tom Doshi categorically denied it and said that Rama would rather form a coalition with Berisha than the PSD.

" Our program is a social program, it is for the poor, the sick. We have 7 thousand new cases of cancer per year, 80 thousand Albanians are affected. To do an analysis is 1500 euros. Do you know how much that equipment costs? 1 million euros. We have 1 pet scanner in Albania and it is private, at a time when Kosovo has 5. Albania needs 8 of them. We undertake that Albania has these 8 devices that serve Albanian sick people. What are 10 million euros for the government. New hospitals are inaugurated every day. Millions are stolen, there are 80 thousand families who suffer, 66 thousand people in need in Shkodër. 100 thousand participate in the elections. So I call today on these 80 thousand families, vote for the PSD. I call on the diaspora to think about these 1 million poor people in Albania.

In 2013, Berisha left power as corrupt, even today it is hard to see half of the government in prison and under investigation, the people who steal from the citizens do not belong to us, they do not belong to Albania. The head of the Shkodra Municipality, who is leading the SP campaign in Shkodra, is a defendant. How can a man who has stolen from the citizens lead the campaign? I am confident that not only in Shkodra, but in all of Albania, the people will vote for us. We are the only hope. How can we go to Europe with 100 euro pensions, when we have not yet divided the lands? I promise that without the PSD there is no majority in Albania.
