The former Minister of Finance in Greece, Janis Varoufakis, is supporting Arlind Qori's "Together Movement" in the May 14 elections.

Varoufakis says through a video message alongside Qori that he strongly supports the "Joint Movement", as progressive, radical and left-wing voices that are advancing a mature program from a technocratic point of view, combining it with a progressive policy.

Varoufakis has supported the effort of the "Joint Movement" which, according to him, is materializing progressive policies in Tirana.

" I am Janis Varoufakis. Here we are in the offices of MERA25 in Athens. We strongly support the TOGETHER Movement for the elections in the Municipality of Tirana, as progressive, radical and left-wing voices that are advancing a technocratically mature program, combining with a progressive policy.

This should happen in all rebel cities because only rebel cities are worth living. This is what happens in Barcelona and this is how it should happen in Athens and Tirana. This is what Tirana needs today.

I am very happy to support your effort to materialize progressive policies in Tirana. You are inspiring us here in Athens", said the former Greek minister. / CNA.al
