The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure, Belinda Balluku, has given details of the project of the integrated port of Vlora, which is located 3 kilometers from the current port.

While inspecting the site with Prime Minister Edi Rama, Balluku indicated that 133 parking spaces for fishing vessels, 2 for citizen transport vessels and one for goods will be built in the new port.

“Sapo kemi filluar të ngrejmë kantierin këtu për të nisur projektin e portit të integruar të Vlorës. Ndodhemi 3 kilometra distancë nga porti ekzistues. Ky është një projekt që ne e kemi prej kohësh në Ministrinë e Energjisë dhe Infrastrukturës, që punojmë për të dhe tashmë gjithçka ka përfunduar përsa i përket kontratës dhe hapave të tjerë. Jemi gati për të ngritur kantierin, jemi në fazat finale për të mbyllur të gjitha lejet. Kjo kontratë do të zgjasë për tre vite, duke nisur nga tetori i 2022-shit, deri në tetor të 2025-ës.
