Defense Minister Niko Peleshi, while presenting the government's decisions, said today that cyber attacks will be a constant reality.

Referring to the cyber attack on the websites of the country's ministries and their databases, Peleshi said that the government is prepared for similar situations in the future as things have changed a lot in the world since the war in Ukraine.

"In the case of the last cyber attack, Albania's defense systems were not targeted. I confirm to the general public that none of our defense systems and armed forces have stopped for a single second.

I cannot divulge details about the cyber counteroffensive, also because it is a work in progress. Cyber ??attacks are problems that are happening everywhere. Cyber ??warfare is not a domain of the future, but of today. Disruption of the balances of the world order after the Russian aggression has shaken all the balances in the world. We are aware that in the future there will be such attacks again and we are taking measures" , said Peleshi./ CNA.al
