Accused by the Florence Prosecutor's Office, here's what Tonin Marinaj

Today, the mayor of Malesia e Madhe, Tonin Marinaj, was summoned to SPAK.

After about two hours in the Special Prosecution Office premises, Marinaj, upon leaving, denied to journalists that he had any connections to criminal groups.

"I have no connection to any criminal group," said Marinaj. 

On the other hand, CNA has revealed the investigative file of the Florence Prosecutor's Office, which has accused Toni Marinaj of being the leader of a criminal organization of international drug trafficking.

The Florence prosecutor's office sent the case against Toni Marinaj to court, where the socialist mayor was accused of having founded, instigated and directed an organization of international proportions, based mainly in Tuscany, Venice, Udine and Albania, for marijuana trafficking.

On March 29, 2016, prosecutor Giulio Monferini filed charges against 8 people for a criminal organization of international proportions for trafficking in narcotics and marijuana, including Marinaj./ CNA
