The recent investigations carried out by SPAK regarding high SP officials, ministers, former ministers, directors, mayors, etc., seem to be the main cause of the postponement of the Organizational Congress that was expected to be held this weekend, on November 4, in Tirana.
Prime Minister Edi Rama, at the last meeting of the Socialist Party Assembly held on September 4, announced that the Congress would be held at the beginning of October and made some changes in the Government. The Socialists then confirmed that the Congress would be held on November 4.
But it seems that a lot of water has flowed these two months and others are expected to flow, strong explosions from SPAK, investigations that have sent his important ministers under accusation, from the closest people such as Ilir Beqaj, or a minister almost 10 -year-old like Olta Xhaçka or the former deputy prime minister who fled.
On the other hand, the investigations about the incinerators continue, there are deputy ministers in prison, ministers in prison, directors under investigation, mayors in prison and mayors under investigation, many names related to the SP and its leadership.
The opposition continues to investigate Gërdec, ex-minister Fatmir Mediu is under trial, Jamarbër Malltezi has been arrested and former prime minister Sali Berisha is under investigation, it is expected that there will be other publications from SPAK after the investigations for LSI- and so on.
The essence of the investigations by SPAK up to these moments seems to be the concessions of the Rama Government, which are sterilization, check-up, incinerators, etc., where serious violations of the law, corruption, benefits, etc. have been found.
In fact, SPAK's investigations, stalled investigations, those that are being developed and what we expect to hear was apparently the reason for the postponement of the November 4th Congress, that in fact November is expected to be a really "hot" month for SPAK -un.
We have often reported that September would be a "hot" month, where strong developments were actually expected, but apparently they were during the month of October, where what stands out is the investigation of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and a measure by the court against him, such as "obligation to appear", as well as the removal of his passport.

On the other hand, it is expected that November will have even stronger developments, not simply and only for Rama's ministers, but to hear the truth of the corruption of these 30 years, which did not start yesterday and does not end today.
SPAK is expected to bring to justice and give public opinion other very strong names, other very important names, involved in affairs, in corruption after the investigations developed, which have been going on for a long time and are expected in November to hear other accusations about other individuals at high levels of Albanian politics./ CNA
