The chairman of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, in a statement to the media after the meeting of the Democrats, has warned that the opposition will continue with its action to prevent normal work in the Assembly.  

" Our next challenge to show the anomaly where the majority has included the assembly will be a 2-day session to review the budget of the oligarchy and not the budget to help Albanian citizens. When it's time to move to that stage, you can be sure that we won't keep it a secret. We are ready to go to every act, including the acts he mentioned to you, and day by day you will learn the escalation of the opposition's action in Parliament." - said Bardhi.

Bardhi also said that the aim of the democrats is for the parliament to function according to the constitution, and therefore the opposition has requested several commissions of inquiry which have been rejected by the majority.

" We want the Parliament not to be abnormal. We want the Parliament to function according to the rules of the Constitution, not as a favor to the opposition but as a right to the opposition MPs. We want to investigate the contracts in the health sector so that the funds go to the citizens and not to the pockets of Edi Rama's associates. We want to investigate the theft of TIMS data to bring to justice those who make such intrusions to hide data that proves criminal links between government officials and their celebrity criminal associates. These are the constitutional rights of the opposition and we are determined to protect them," he said.

Bardhi did not leave without mentioning Lulzim Basha, for whom he said that he does not know if he is positioned towards the opposition or not. He said that he saw Basha himself the day he was running when votes were needed in the session of the law cementing the seizure by Edi Rama of the Constitutional Court, and from that day he lost sight of him. /CNA
