Dashamir Shehi, head of the Movement for National Development, has not supported the opposition for the protests in Parliament.

Shehi said on Alba Alishan's show that he has chosen to stand in solidarity with his colleagues by not participating in parliamentary committees.

However, he stressed that blocking plenary sessions and committees is not the right way to gain parliamentary rights.

"But for me to think that this is the path we must take to regain our parliamentary rights, to address the Albanians, what is good and what is bad... it is a scheme that we have used it several times", he said, while emphasizing that PD is wasting the weapon it has.

"Parliament goes to the streets, the protest is a formula. Getting your way into Parliament is not worth it. The voice to speak in Parliament is the weapon that the opposition has today. And it seems to me that we are wasting it. Good, bad, they can't shut us up", continued the head of the LZHK.

Shehi raised the claim that the opposition's action is not only caused by the attitude of the majority, but also personal interests.

"There are many reasons within a protest. Of course, there are personal interests within this war, there is rivalry within the opposition once and this became a story that has been followed for 2 years or so and this has only produced quarrels. And what happened today, the judiciary that took place today", he underlined./ CNA
