The Democratic Party of Vula reacted after the news became public that the Court of Tirana did not recognize Lulzim Basha as the chairman of the Democratic Party, nor the Assembly of September 2.

The court accepted the request of the Democratic Party of Sali Berisha. As a result, the case for consideration of Basha's request for the approval of the National Assembly on September 2 has been suspended.

The spokeswoman of the Democratic Party, Mirela Karabina in a statement denied the court's decision saying that the decision of the Tirana court approved Basha as the president of the Democratic Party.

"Today in the Court of Tirana, the next session was held to examine the request of the Democratic Party for the registration of the statute approved by the National Assembly on September 2. Today's court decision proves 2 things: First, that Lulzim Basha is the chairman of the Democratic Party and; secondly, that the judge refused to assess whether the fable of the National Council online was built on falsified acts," she said.

Despite the initial assertion about the head of the Democratic Party, Karabina further said that the issue has nothing to do with the chairman of the Democratic Party or with the functioning of the Democratic Party.

"Before the process is over and the court has not spoken, a pre-prepared statement has been distributed with the aim of distorting the truth. Although the judge did not subject the Statute of September 2 to evaluation, the declarants claim that it has been overturned. Such statements drawn up by groups that have declared war on SPAK, like everything else, are just lies. The issue has nothing to do with the chairman of the Democratic Party nor with the functioning of the DP," said Karabina.

The historic leader of the Democrats announced just a few moments ago that he will hold a meeting with the Democrats. He announced that he will hold the meeting at 18:00 in the city of Kavaja.
