The former speaker of the Assembly, Namik Dokle, has criticized the majority and the opposition for the situation created during the last weeks in the Assembly, where there were no normal plenary sessions or normal committee meetings.

Dokle said in an interview with Nisida Tufa that parliamentary life has gone beyond normality.

He declared that he is a socialist, but this does not stop him from expressing his reservations, while he emphasized that the rules of the Parliament must be respected by both the majority and the opposition.

"The main thing that the images show is that parliamentary life has gone out of normality. I think that the political instruments of the parliament are of no use when they go outside of normality.

What is happening is not the normal solution, as we touch the foundations of parliamentarism. I don't want to play the role of a judge, because I am a socialist and a socialist will die. As a citizen, I say that any non-parliamentary instrument is not good for society or those who do these things. The opposition thinks it is within its rights, I think there are other ways.

The majority has the strength, the opposition has the wisdom. Parliamentarianism has its own rules and they must be respected by both the majority and the opposition, otherwise it is not normal.
