Leader of the Democratic Party of Albania (DP) Sali Berisha, at the start of the meeting of the DP Parliamentary Group, commented on today's session in the Assembly where the new structure with 11 committees was approved.

For Berisha, this was a dramatic departure and he said he condemns this act of replacing the Constitution, regulations, and the rule of law with a narco-state.

The leader of the Democratic Party said that the Integration Commission acted unconstitutionally and that this flagrant act narrows the opposition's communication spaces with the international community.

Placing a parliament and its life in serious violation of the Constitution and regulations is a major, irresponsible act, it is a serious attack on the constitutional order of the country, constitutionalism, and the rule of law.

It is further evidence of the replacement of the rule of law with the narco-state in this country.

In this context, I condemn with the greatest force such an act, such an initiative, and it could not have been otherwise by this group of people.

Imagine what they are capable of doing. The Constitution was violated, the rules of parliament were violated, the most important institution after the Constitution in Albania.

It is the number 1 constitutional institution of the country and its regulation is the most important law after the Constitution.

It was proceeded in an unconstitutional and irregular manner.

But even with the changes made to the committees, they constitute a flagrant act of narrowing the opposition's communication spaces in the international community.
