The McGonigal case/ DP call SPAK: Investigate Edi Rama

The Democratic Party has reacted after the article published by "Voice of America" ??entitled "The McGonigal case, the Albanian-American Nezaj, for over 6 hours in the Special Prosecutor's Office".

According to the blue headquarters, "Voice of America" ??reveals Rama's lie and the fact how he bribed McGonigal. DP calls on SPAK to summon Rama to testify against Agro Neza.

Full reaction:

The Voice of America, the official media of the American government, in yesterday's news about Agron Neza's call to SPAK, denounces Edi Rama as a liar, and proves that he bribed Charles McGonigal to fight the opposition. VOA chronicles the events surrounding McGonigal's efforts to damage the Democratic Party, pushed by Rama. According to VOA, American lobbyist Nick Muzin filed on November 14, 2017 with the Department of Justice the document on the lobbying activity in favor of DP.

On November 22, BIRN made public the fact that Muzin had declared receiving 500,000 dollars from the Democratic Party. A few days later, on November 25, Charles McGonigal informed the Department of Justice about this case with information obtained from Dorian Ducka. In January 2018, the former FBI official again receives information about the case from Agron Neza. According to the American indictment, Neza received this information from Prime Minister Rama's office.

Rama's lie was made in Parliament last year, when he sought to escape by saying that his office had no information, except for what had appeared in the media. The fact is, as Zëti i Amerika points out, that at that time there was no talk of Russian funding in the media. They were raised as an issue only in March 2018, in an article by the American magazine "Mother Jones". The lie VOA reveals is, in fact, the crux of Rama's efforts to save himself from being implicated in the McGonigal dossier. The money that McGonigal received from Agron Neza is the money that Rama paid to attack the Democratic Party.

The Voice of America, referring to American prosecutors, states that "the defendant had sworn to investigate and prevent crimes against the United States, not to commit them."
Doesn't the same apply to Edi Rama, still uninvestigated by SPAK? He is committing crimes against the public interest to harm the opposition and by bribing senior officials of allied governments. SPAK, why doesn't it act? /CNA
