The Chairman of the Democratic Party Youth Forum, Besart Xhaferri, said in a status on social media that the Rama government is encouraging the mass exodus.

In his status, Xhaferri writes that more babies were born in Albania during World War II than during the socialist government.

Xhaferri says that young Albanians who are emigrating are also deprived of the baby bonus, while for those living in Albania there is no financial assistance from the state.

“The “ Exodus” of babies/ In 1942, during World War II, more babies were born in Albania than under Rama's government in 2024! Every country in the world follows specific policies to increase the birth rate, while Albania under Edi Rama's government does the opposite, encourages a massive exodus and even deprives young people who emigrate of the baby bonus, while for those who have children in Albania, the government offers absolutely no financial assistance, as do countries in the region and Europe. In 2024, according to INSTAT, 22,425 babies were born in our country, or 5% less than in 2023, while even during World War II, more babies were born in Albania than today, where specifically in 1942 over 36 thousand babies were born at a time when the number of women of reproductive age was lower than today. In Tirana, the population increased by 7.3% between the 2011 and 2023 censuses, but on the other hand, the number of births decreased by 11%. The largest decrease occurred in the last five years.

Statistics show that young Albanians in emigration are giving birth to more children than their peers in Albania, as the SOROS agendas that have invaded our country through Edi Rama are the fiercest enemies of the family and the future of this nation. Here and in soft loans, the LGBTQI community has more priority than young couples, as the costs of raising a child have reached extreme levels in relation to income. The prices of baby food and medications are among the highest in Europe, while money laundering in construction has exposed young couples to high rents and the inability to buy a property. On May 11, Albanians will vote for the Democratic Party, whose economic program has the family and young couples as the only guarantee of prosperity and development.
