Pali Kolefski, the current mayor of the Municipality of Pustec, is running again to win the second mandate in the management of this municipality. Kolefski is a graduate economist and previously worked in the customs offices in Korça. For years he has been involved in the Socialist Party of this municipality, having the support of the residents.

The most worrying problem for the villages of Pustec Municipality was drinking water and for the first time Kolefski has managed to provide drinking water 24 hours a day in these villages through the project. The municipality's investments in Kolefski's first mandate were also focused on the sewerage of sewage for the tourist villages, as well as on the road infrastructure with asphalting of the main roads of the villages.

With the victory of the second term as mayor, Kolefski stopped focusing on some existing problems in Pustec. These problems are related to the sewerage of waste water in the entire area, the improvement of the road infrastructure and the improvement of the lake line and the increase of touristic capacities to further develop the area. One of the most important promises is the opening of the border crossing point with Cerrje (Greece).
