Democrat Grigels Muçollari reacted today regarding the 'Durrës Marina' project.

Speaking from the construction site, Muçollari accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of treating this project as private property and granting 80 hectares of land to his friend Alabar.

Muçollari stressed that according to official data, some buildings have sunk up to 28 centimeters, while the sinking could reach up to 1 meter.

Here behind me is the 'Durres Marina' being built, where according to official bodies, some buildings have been submerged, up to 28 centimeters.

Meanwhile, media reports speak of a sinking of up to 1 m.

The biggest downside here is public interest, because we are dealing with an affair and private project of Edi Rama with his friend Alabar.

Without any consultation or transparency, 80 hectares of land in the port of Durres, one of the country's greatest assets, the most important economic and strategic hub, were given to them.

Edi Rama treated the port of Durres as if it were private property.

According to the propaganda, 2 billion euros will be invested here by Alabari. But so far, only money has been collected from citizens with pre-purchase contracts.

We are talking about tens of millions of euros.

Edi Rama's friend has not only acquired 80 hectares of land here that is worth several billion euros, but he will not pay any taxes, and even some works such as cleaning and removing inert materials will be done by the state, with our taxes.

The collapse of buildings is the result of a crime.

Treating the country as loot and public assets as private has severely damaged the public interest and the economy in Albania.

Don't forget, because of this personal project of Edi Rama we don't have a port. While we had a 2,000-year-old port, which was also the main point of Corridor 8, today we have several buildings that are sinking and some pockets that are swelling with our money. /CNA
