Rama, joked in Estonia: I brought some sunshine from Albania

Prime Minister Edi Rama is on an official visit to Estonia, where he was received by his counterpart, Kristen Michal.

During the joint press conference, Rama did not spare jokes, stating that at the summit in Tirana, Starmer brought rain, while he is bringing sunshine from Albania to Estonia.

"First, let me clarify a few things. When you came to Tirana it was a rainy day because Starmer brought it from London, today is a sunny day because I brought the sun from Albania. Thank you for letting me bring some sun here. I want to express my gratitude that I am finally allowed to visit this city that I have imagined as a laboratory of the future.

We want to ensure that our journey to 2030 is paved with the same innovation that Estonia has done. We aim to move forward in cybersecurity.

"We are two nations that live with the desire to seize the future after having been held for a long time in the past, not by their choice, but because of imposition," said Rama./ CNA
