"We will gradually increase pensions"/ Rama: Problems from undeclared

Prime Minister Edi Rama held a meeting in Cërrik today with farmers in the area. Rama spoke about the support provided so far through support schemes and the further growth of this sector.

In his speech, Rama also touched on pensions. Rama said that the aim is to gradually increase pensions.

Rama called the rule for eliminating undeclared years of work one of the most criminal policies.

Rama added that employees should be careful, because by accepting undeclared work they will create problems for themselves at the time of retirement.

"We want to gradually increase pensions. Increases either in the minimum pension or by supporting those who are victims of the past at this stage."

Today, there are pensioners who receive different pensions for the same job and years of work. In my opinion, it is one of the most criminal policies.

At first, there was a massive shutdown and people who were 40 years old were declared pensioners. This was accompanied by a decision to set a minimum pension of 200 euros. The other pensions were completely ridiculous.

On the other hand, their work was not listed. The level of undeclared work was catastrophic. This was maintained until 2014 when we removed the ceiling.

That's why we say to those who are at work, not to receive their salaries in cash, but in the bank.

"They think they get more, but in fact they are digging a hole for themselves when they retire," Rama said./CNA
